Insidia is an evocative short film that explores the depths of stress and anxiety, created by Fatou Diop as director, storyboard artist and editor. Through innovative camera movements and mesmerising dance, the film transforms raw emotion into a visual language that resonates deeply with its audience. Each movement tells a story, capturing both the struggle and release of anxiety, while inviting viewers to experience the turmoil and beauty of these emotions first-hand. Insidia is a poignant exploration of how physical expression can bridge the gap between individual experience and shared human emotion, leaving a lasting impact on those who watch.
To support my work, I created a research and development book, filled with important information, sketches and storyboards.
The poster for Insidia encapsulates the film’s emotional journey, combining striking visuals with evocative design. The colour palette and composition draw viewers in, inviting them to explore the depths of their own emotions.
